The "Pinacoteca Municipal Ignacio Merino" exhibits one of the most important Peruvian art collections of the country. On display are nearly 600 works from the 19th and 20th century, which show the variety and different artistic facets of Peruvian painters.

The pinacotheca is proud to present its visitors paintings of the famous Pancho Fierro, Jose Sabogal, Juan Manuel Ugarte Elespuru, Fernando de Szyszlo and others.
